Vancouver
While not within the byway itself, Vancouver is a fantastic basecamp for the start or end of your journey. Walk the waterfront with its restaurants and wine tasting rooms, explore Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, and more.
Camas

Stevenson

Carson
A quiet gateway to Mount St. Helens and several hikes, you can explore nearby waterfalls, pop into local stores, and unwind with a soak in a mineral hot spring.
White Salmon-Bingen
Perched above the Columbia River, White Salmon and neighboring Bingen provide views of Mount Hood across the river and downtowns full of character. Sip on craft beer and local wine, take a hike, or hit the water for kayaking, rafting, or windsurfing.
Lyle
In Lyle, find great beaches to kick off a windsurfing outing or go fishing in the Klickitat River. The area is also home to several wineries, making it easy to pair outdoor adventures with a wine tasting.
Maryhill
Located at the southern end of the byway along the Columbia River, tiny Maryhill is known for the Maryhill Museum of Art and Maryhill Stonehenge Memorial.
