Viking Fest takes place the 3rd weekend of May, coinciding with the Norwegian Independence Celebration “Syttende Mai.” During Viking Fest there will be live performances throughout the day along with a Carnival and Street Fair. Carnival rides and games will be available in King Olaf parking lot and Anderson Parkway will turn into a street fair, featuring food, art, and games.
Saturday at 2 p.m. is the annual parade and at night there will be a street dance on Front Street.
