Since 1954, the Christmas Ships Parade has brought holiday cheer to the Columbia River in Vancouver. Today, around 55 to 60 boats are in the Christmas Ship fleet, each boasting colorful lighted Christmas displays. Sailings happen throughout December and can be seen with a walk along the waterfront or while enjoying a meal at a restaurant with a view of the water.
