The 47th Annual Yacht Race begins in Ilwaco. Participants travel from the mouth of the mighty Columbia River and up the Washington coast, ending in Victoria, B.C. The race tests sailing, navigation, and tactical skills as well as endurance. Onlookers and fans are invited to kick off the Pacific Northwest Sailing Days race on May 10 with Ilwaco’s Dockside Open House from 1-4 p.m.!
