Bremerton is known for its connection with the Navy and a history of grit and tenacity. Our local community embraces the unconventional and celebrates fun new traditions. Following an Austrian tradition, Krampusnacht is intended to support local businesses and the community by bringing a fun tradition to the city, while inviting tourists and people looking to celebrate the Yuletide season.
During Krampusnacht, costumed participants roam the streets of downtown Bremerton (around 4th St & Pacific Ave), visiting participating businesses, and posing for photos with fans. The event is free to attend and we love to see the crowds of people looking to see if Krampus punishes them for being naughty, or they can look forward to a visit from Santa Claus, for being nice.
