2026 Washington wildfire relief resources

Find updates and ways to donate

Wildfires are impacting several communities across Washington State, affecting residents, local businesses, and visitor destinations. On Aug. 1, 2026, Gov. Bob Ferguson declared a statewide state of emergency that prohibits most outdoor and agricultural burning through Sept. 30. In addition to respecting burn bans and following local evacuation and closure notices, visitors and residents can support wildfire relief efforts through the donation links below.

Before traveling, we encourage visitors to check local travel advisories, our broader travel alerts page, and the Washington State Department of Transportation’s real-time closures map.
