Each July, the small town of Wilkeson throws a two-day community celebration known as Wilkeson Days. There is a parade, live music, food vendors, and a whole lot of small-town energy. The main event? The Wilkeson Handcar Races at historic Coke Oven Park.
Teams of 3 or 5 compete on authentic-style handcars over a 300-foot course. Two or four people power the car while a pusher helps launch the start. It is fast, loud, competitive, and a little chaotic in the best possible way. The fastest time in each class wins!

Handcar Kickoff: 12:45 p.m.
