Aubin Pictures is proud to present “Meanwhile”, a cinematic docu-poem in six verses about artists breathing through chaos. Told across six dynamic movements, the film centers breath as a symbol of resistance and resilience—blending music, dance, poetry, and imagery to capture the disorientation, grief, and creative fire of 2020 and beyond. In collaboration with Jacqueline Woodson (text), Meshell Ndegeocello (soundscape), Erika Dilday (support), M. Trevino (structure), and Catherine Gund (direction), “Meanwhile” weaves artistic expression with historical and observational footage into a rare meditation on identity, race, and resistance as they shape our shared breath.
