From cideries and breweries to pumpkin patches, farms, and food producers, Harvest Festival highlights the people and places that make fall on the Olympic Peninsula special with a cornucopia of events and open houses celebrating the abundance of the land.
Friday, Oct. 9 begins with Flavors of Fall: Apple Tart Tatin & Cider Cocktails at The Resort at Port Ludlow. At Quimper Grange in Port Townsend, longtime cider maker Paul Brookshire will lead the free Home Cider Making: From Tree to Table class. Friday evening, Quilcene Lantern hosts Western Swing with Bobby Winstead & the Long Goodbyes.
Saturday, Oct. 10 brings the 5th Annual Quilcene Fiber Festival to Worthington Park, with fiber arts, traditional crafts, demonstrations, vendors, food and music. Glendale Farm will offer workshops throughout the day before its evening Harvest Dinner, and Propolis Brewing will host a free Fall Harvest Party from 6–10 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 11 features one of the festival’s longtime traditions, Apple Day at Finnriver Farm & Cidery, from 12–6 p.m. The all-ages celebration includes live music from Global Heat, performances by Sequim Acrobatics, the Magic Orchard Parade, apple pressing and hot cider, kids’ activities and crafts, rockhounding, a Makers Market, food, cider and a pumpkin patch.
Harvest Festival concludes Sunday evening with a DJ Dance Party at Glendale Farm from 8–11 p.m.
