Ready to experience Issaquah’s history on the trail?

IHM Executive Director Paul Winterstein will lead you up Squak Mountain, where mining scars, logging remnants, and the iconic Bullitt Fireplace bring the past and present into sharp focus. At the fireplace, you’ll hear a story from our Trailblazers exhibit that was called "the greatest act of environmental benevolence in local history."

Hike details: 4 miles roundtrip – 1,200 foot elevation gain – Physically demanding
