Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 7, 2025, because the Point Wilson Lighthouse and the United States Lighthouse Society (USLHS) are throwing a Celebration of the Light — and you’re invited! From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., we’ll be gathering at the lighthouse to mark a major milestone: the restoration and relighting of the original 1894 Fresnel lens!
- Live music from local favorites Cold Comfort, Marco Marco, and Afterlife Gift Shop
- Food and drinks available for purchase (come hungry!)
- Raffles and games for all ages
- Guided tours of the lighthouse, including a close-up look at the newly restored lens
- Educational displays sharing the fascinating history of maritime navigation and lighthouse technology
